Are you getting ready for an upcoming vacation or other trip? These 30 Amazon travel must haves will make packing so much easier.

I’m a frequent traveler who used to be so disorganized on my vacations and work trips. I’d land at my destination with an overstuffed suitcase and realize I still didn’t have everything I needed.

Like that time I went to England and realized I totally forgot my converter, so I couldn’t even plug my phone in to charge it. Or that time in Spain when I realized I didn’t have a luggage tag on my suitcase, and I was flying a budget airline that did not provide paper luggage tags. So I had no identification on my checked bag if it got lost in transit.

Since then, I’ve learned that being organized makes my trips a lot more enjoyable. But I definitely need help staying organized, because it just doesn’t come naturally to me. Which is why I’ve scoured Amazon to find the best travel must haves to make my trips more enjoyable. Now, I’m sharing my favorite Amazon travel must haves to make your upcoming travels easier.

Maybe you’re naturally disorganized like me. Or you’re an extremely organized person who’s always looking for new packing hacks and travel products. In any event, keep reading for the best Amazon travel finds!

A flaylay of Amazon travel must haves including a pink passport cover and luggage tag set, a black passport cover and luggage tag set, and a pink and clear pouch with the word "TRAVEL" written on it.

30 Amazon Travel Must Haves

1. Cords and Electronics Organizer

This organizer for your cords and small electronics goes everywhere with me. It fits easily into the seat pocket in front of you on a plane or a car. Plus, it’s easy to pop in your handbag or backpack when you’re on the go. It’s lightweight and made of water resistant material.

It easily fits my iPhone charger and other cords, a wall charger adaptor, spare battery pack for my phone, AirPods, my AirFly, and extra memory cards for my camera. I bring it everywhere.

I bought the pink one, but it comes in so many colors.

2. Travel Jewelry Box

This travel jewelry box is one of my favorite Amazon travel must haves. It keeps your earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces organized.

The necklace hooks mean your favorite necklaces won’t get tangled when you travel. This is one of my favorite Amazon travel finds, because it has saved so many of my favorite necklaces from getting ruined in my suitcase.

It fits 3 necklaces, 6 rings and 4-8 pairs of earrings. It’s also a great gift idea for your favorite traveler!

3. Hanging Toiletry Bag

Hotel bathrooms can be tiny and usually have limited counter space. This hanging toiletry bag solves that problem. It’s large enough to fit the toiletries you need for your trip, and you can hang it up in your hotel bathroom to save space.

This hanging toiletry bag has clear interior compartments. So, you’ll easily be able to find the toiletries you need during your trip.

I bring this with me on longer trips when I’m checking a bag and want to bring all of my favorite skincare and makeup with me.

I can’t recommend this toiletry bag enough. It’s one of my favorite Amazon travel must haves!

4. Packing Cubes

This set of packing cubes makes packing so much easier. I didn’t understand the hype around packing cubes, until I tried them myself.

They help you fit more into your suitcase, while also keeping you organized. You won’t have to unpack and repack your suitcase each time you’re looking for a single item, like your favorite t-shirt. Instead of messing up your entire suitcase while you look for that t-shirt, you’ll just be able to grab your packing cube full of tees.

Packing cubes also help you pack more mindfully. They’ve helped me stop overpacking because I’m more aware of what I’m putting in my suitcase.

5. Travel Shoe Organizer

This travel shoe organizer is basically a packing cube for your shoes. But it doesn’t just keep your shoes organized in your suitcase. It also keeps your dirty shoes from touching the clean clothes in your suitcase.

If you like to bring multiple pairs of shoes on your vacations (like me!), this travel shoe organizer is a great addition to the packing cube set above, which comes with only 1 shoe bag.

6. Leak Proof Refillable Travel Bottles

I hate wasting money on travel size toiletries from the pharmacy. They are so overpriced, and my favorite brands usually don’t make travel size versions anyway. That’s why I love these refillable travel bottles from Amazon.

I fill them up with my favorite shampoo, conditioner, body wash and whatever other toiletries I need for my trip. These refillable travel bottles are leak-proof and BPA-free. I’ve taken them all around the world and they haven’t leaked once.

They’re also TSA compliant because the bottles are 3 ounces each. Meaning they can go through airport security in your carryon bag. They’re definitely one of the Amazon travel must haves I use the most!

7. Leak Proof Cream Jars for Travel

These leak proof refillable jars are another one of my favorite Amazon travel must haves. Lugging around full-size versions of your skincare and other toiletries when you travel is annoying and heavy.

Especially because I’m trying to travel with just a carryon as often as possible. And I have a multi-step skincare routine that involves a lot of products. So, lightweight and compact refillable jars really come in handy when I’m traveling.

These refillable BPA-free jars are great for packing your favorite face creams, serums and eye creams.

8. Refillable Portable Travel Spray Bottles

These refillable portable spray bottles are also great when you travel. You can fill them up with hairspray, hand sanitizer, essential oils, glasses cleaner, bug repellant, etc.

I’ve recently started making rosemary water to stimulate hair growth (of course I saw it on TikTok!), and will definitely be packing it in this spray bottle for my next trip.

These spray bottles are also small enough to be TSA 3-1-1 compliant and can go through airport security in your carry-on bag.

9. Apple AirTags

Air travel has been unhinged lately, with flight delays and more lost luggage than ever. The airlines are really testing us, especially with airline prices being at an all-time high!

If you’ve seen those viral TikToks, you know that Apple AirTags are a brilliant way to track your bags when you travel. When you hide an AirTag in your suitcase and carry-on bag, you’ll never have to stress about the location of your bags again.

When I check a bag, it’s such a relief to be able to check my AirTag’s location upon landing to know that my bag has arrived too. I also like to put an AirTag in my passport holder, my purse and in my wallet when I travel. That way, I can always keep track of them.

If you buy a 4-pack of AirTags, it’s cheaper than buying them individually. AirTags are my all-time favorite Amazon travel must have. I’ll never travel without them again!

10. Portable Charging Bank for your Phone

It’s easy to deplete the battery on your phone when you’re taking hundreds (or thousands) of vacation photos or videos. I’m the worst for this. I have to charge my phone multiple times per day! That’s why I never travel without a portable charging bank.

It’s really important to have a fully charged phone when you travel to an unfamiliar place. That way, you can use Google maps to find your way back to your hotel, hail an Uber if you need transportation, and check train schedules and routes. Especially if you’re somewhere with a language barrier where it may be hard to ask locals for directions.

This is currently my favorite portable charging bank for my phone. It’s lightweight and holds about 2 full charges of my iPhone. You can find smaller power banks, but I find they don’t hold enough charge for a full day of travel and exploring.

11. Portable Luggage Scale

I’m a recovering over-packer and I like to shop when I travel, especially for art and home goods. That’s why a portable luggage scale is one of my favorite Amazon travel must haves. It’s much easier to use than trying to balance my big suitcase on my regular scale.

I always weigh my suitcase at home to make sure it’s not overweight. I don’t want to arrive at the airport only to find out it’s to heavy. Because airline excess baggage fees are killer, especially if you’re flying a budget airline.

And there’s nothing more stressful than being that flustered person who’s repacking your suitcase at the baggage check!

12. Universal Travel Power Adaptor

It’s easy to forget that your usual electronics and chargers won’t fit into the plugs/sockets in many countries. If you’re coming from America, you will need a wall plug adaptor when you visit many foreign countries.

I forgot to bring an adaptor once on a trip to England, and was shocked at how hard it was to buy an adaptor at my destination. I’ll never do it again!

This universal travel power adaptor is the only wall plug adaptor you’ll need for your travels. It works in over 150 countries, including European countries, the UK, Ireland, Australia, China, Japan and more.

So far, I’ve brought it to England, Italy, France, Greece and Singapore and it worked perfectly. It’s definitely one of my most-used Amazon travel finds.

It has USB ports at the bottom, so you can use it to charge up to 5 electronics at once. I own the model that has a mix of USB-A and USB-C plugs at the bottom, but you can also buy the version that has UBB-A ports only.

Will This Adaptor Convert Voltage?

No, this wall plug adaptor is not a voltage converter.

Electronics in America are 110 volts, while European electronics run on 220 volts. Some electronics are “dual-voltage” meaning they can work at either voltage. Those will either say they are dual-voltage or will have a range of voltages printed on them (for example “110–220”).

You do not need a voltage converter when you travel with dual-voltage electronics. That includes most Apple devices like your iPhone and laptop, which are usually dual-voltage.

But if you are traveling to a destination that runs on a different voltage than your home county, you need a voltage converter to use any electronics that are not dual-voltage.

For example, if you plug a 110 voltage American hair dryer into a European outlet just using a wall adaptor (but not a voltage converter), you will probably ruin that hairdryer and it will never work again. I know this from experience because I destroyed an expensive hair straightener on a Greece trip.

So, don’t forget to pack dual voltage electronics when necessary, like this dual voltage travel hair dryer, a dual voltage hair straightener, or my favorite dual voltage travel steamer.

Or, pack a “step down” adaptor that also converts voltage. https://amzn.to/490Yt3S

13. Collapsible Water Bottle

Bottled water at airports is the biggest ripoff. And, it’s always a good thing to reduce your use of single-use plastics. That’s why I recommend traveling with a collapsible water bottle.

This collapsible water bottle takes up much less space than a traditional water bottle. It will save you so much money in the long run. You can bring it empty through airport security, and then fill it up for free at a water fountain instead of paying $5 for a small bottle of water at the airport.

14. AirFly Adaptor For In-Flight Entertainment

This is one of my most recent Amazon travel finds and I’m obsessed. The AirFly lets you use your AirPods or other wireless headphone with your plane’s in-flight entertainment system.

Most planes still have archaic in-flight entertainment systems that only work with wired headphones with an aux cable. And if you’re on a budget airline or domestic flight, the airlines make you pay to purchase their headphones. Which, of course, are terrible quality and aren’t useful after your flight.

The AirFly is an adaptor that plugs into the in-flight entertainment system at your seat. That way, you can watch movies and shows on your flight using your own wireless headphones.

I own and use the AirFly Pro, which has the longest battery life, can be used with 2 pairs of wireless headphones, and works on planes, in cars, at the gym, with gaming devices, and even on boats.

If you’re looking for a cheaper option, the AirFly SE works with one pair of wireless headphones, but it has about 5 hours less battery time. It also won’t work in cars or on boat sound systems.

15. Phone Mount

Did you know that a lot of airlines (especially budget airlines) don’t have in-flight entertainment systems? This inexpensive phone mount fits perfectly on your in-flight tray table. With this phone mount, you can comfortably watch movies and shows on the plane, even if you don’t have a screen at your seat.

16. Belt Bag

A belt bag is a great way to keep your wallet and passport safe when you travel. This belt bag from Amazon is stylish, functional and doesn’t give off tacky fanny-pack vibes. It also comes in more than 30 colors and looks a lot like a pricey Lululemon bag.

17. Travel Blanket (That Doubles as a Travel Pillow)

Airplanes are always freezing. This travel blanket from Amazon is a soft and cozy way to stay warm on the plane. This travel blanket is an Amazon travel must have especially for domestic flights, where you aren’t offered an airline blanket.

I’ve stopped using airline blankets even when they are offered, because I had an allergic reaction from one on a flight. It must have been covered in pet hair and not cleaned properly before I used it. I spent the entire flight with itchy red eyes and a runny nose. Now, I’d rather bring my own travel blanket.

This travel blanket also doubles as a comfy travel pillow when it’s folded into its bag/case.

18. Travel Pillow

A comfy travel pillow is a must for long flights. You don’t want to end up at your destination with a stiff neck. This memory foam one is a great choice. It compresses down to 1/2 its size so you can easy toss it in your carry-on bag.

19. Sleep Mask

A soft and comfy sleep mask makes it so much easier to sleep on planes. A sleep mask is one of my favorite travel products from Amazon, and one of my biggest secrets for arriving rested after a long haul flight. I’m an epic sleeper on planes – I once slept most of the way homev from Thailand, which was about 18 hours of travel time!

Blocking off the light from the plane cabin makes it so much easier to fall asleep during your flight.

20. Passport Cover + Luggage Tag Set

Keeping your passport protected is important. So is distinguishing your suitcase from others at the baggage claim. This passport case and luggage tag set is stylish and covers both you and your travel buddy.

21. Travel Wallet

This travel wallet keeps your cards, cash and passport organized. It even has a pen holder in case you need to fill out a paper customs and immigration form, and a key ring. It also comes in 38 colors, if you want something more vibrant than classic black.

22. Dual Voltage Travel Steamer

This dual voltage travel steamer is one of my favorite Amazon travel finds. You won’t have to worry about wrinkled clothes on vacation when you pack this handy steamer.

It’s dual voltage, which means you can use it worldwide without needing a voltage converter. If you’re traveling to a country that doesn’t use North American plugs, use it with your universal plug adaptor, and you wont have to worry about it shorting out in a country that uses 220 voltage.

23. Dual Voltage Hair Dryer

Hotel hairdryers are usually terrible, and hostels and AirBnbs often don’t have them. Packing this dual voltage hairdryer means you won’t have to stress about drying your hair while you travel.

It’s portable and has a folder handle. And since it’s dual voltage, you can use it worldwide without needing a voltage converter. If you’re traveling to a country that doesn’t use North American plugs, use it with your universal plug adaptor.

You don’t want to use a 110 voltage (regular North American) hair dryer in a country that uses a 220 voltage system. Even with a plug adaptor, that hairdryer will probably overheat, burn out and stop working forever.

24. Folding Light Up Travel Mirror

This portable folding travel mirror is a lifesaver if you’re sharing a hotel or AirBnb bathroom with a bunch of friends or family members. Plus, a lot of hotel bathrooms have terrible lighting and limited counter space. So you end up doing your makeup at a desk, using whatever tiny mirrored compact is in your makeup bag.

This travel mirror has built in LED lights so you can do your makeup in even the dimmest hotel room. And it’s lightweight and easy to slip in your suitcase or carry-on.

25. Travel Backpack

This travel backpack is stylish and comes in multiple colors. It has a laptop compartment and lots of pockets. It’s the perfect backpack to bring as your carry-on on the plane, so you can be hands free in the airport. It’s also a great weekend bag.

26. Carry On Duffle Bag

This duffle bag is a cute and practical carry-on or weekend bag. It has a sleeve on the side to attach it to your rolling suitcase at the airport. It’s also made of waterproof fabric, and has an adjustable shoulder strap and a special internal pocket for any wet items. It’s perfect for toiletries or a wet bathing suit.

27. Luggage Set with Rolling Suitcases

A good set of rolling suitcases is key for any traveler. This 3-piece luggage set is one of Amazon’s top travel must haves, with over 18,000 reviews! It includes a 20-inch carry-on bag, a medium sized 24-inch checked bag, and a large 28-inch checked bag.

These suitcases are lightweight and can be stored one into another, if you have limited storage space.

If you’re just looking for a carry-on suitcase, instead of a luggage set, this 22-inch rolling suitcase is my favorite. It’s lightweight and durable. Plus, it’s the largest rolling carry-on suitcase you can bring on domestic flights within the U.S.

28. Portable Door Lock + Door Stop Alarm

This portable door lock and door stop alarm set is a must for any solo female traveler. They add an extra layer of security when you’re staying at a hotel or AirBnb. Because, you never really know who might have a key to your room’s door.

The portable door lock helps prevent unauthorized entry into your hotel room or AirBnb. The loud door stopper alarm will go off, letting you know if someone does manage to open the door. And the noise will hopefully scare them off.

29. Travel Umbrella

If you’re traveling somewhere rainy, a small and lightweight travel umbrella is a lifesaver. I visit family in England every year, so this is definitely an Amazon travel must have for those rainy trips to the UK!

30. Portable Apple Watch Charger

Using your Apple Watch to track your steps while you sightsee? This lightweight portable Apple Watch charger helps you keep your Apple Watch charged while you’re on the go.

It’s perfect for charging your Apple Watch while you’re at a coffee shop or an airport – basically anywhere you have to fight to get a free outlet.

That wraps up this list of 30 Amazon travel must haves you need for your next trip. These Amazon travel finds will make packing for your next trip so much easier!
