The Best Instagram Spots in Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, not if you take a photo of it at one of the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas! Amirite? I spent a week in Vegas and lived to tell the tale. During my time there, I combed the city for all of the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas – both on and off the strip. It turns out that Vegas is super duper Instagrammable. So read on for the ultimate list of the best Instagram spots in Vegas!
And, if you love Instagram as much as I do, I’ve also got you covered with similar posts if you’re looking for Instagrammable spots in Paris, NYC, Scottsdale, Chicago and Miami.
Alright, now Viva Las Vegas, baby!
1. Old Las Vegas Sign
No Instagrammable trip to Las Vegas is complete without visiting the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. This iconic neon sign is located in the median at 5100 Las Vegas Boulevard South. It has its own parking lot, so it’s easy to drive or Uber here and get that perfect Instagram shot.
Photography Tip: Come early. Even at 8 AM, the sun was really bright because this isn’t in a shaded spot.
2. Neon Museum
The Neon Museum (770 N Las Vegas Boulevard) is a sight not to be missed. Not only is it one of the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas, but it’s an amazing slice of Vegas history. It’s a non-profit outdoor museum that displays old neon signs from the Las Vegas area. You can read all about my visit to the Neon Museum here.
Photography Tip: If you’re interested in learning the history of the Neon Museum, take a guided tour. If you just want to get photos, buy a general admission ticket so you can wander the Neon Boneyard at your own pace.
There are also a lot of photography restrictions to be aware of, which are covered in detail in my blog post here.
As long as you respect the rules, it’s hard to take a bad pic at the Neon Museum because it truly is one of the most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas!
3. Seven Magic Mountains
The Seven Magic Mountains are a colorful and vibrant large-scale art installation located about 10 miles south of Las Vegas. They are the creation of Ugo Rondinone, a Swiss artist.
The Seven Magic Mountains were originally planned to be on display until the end of 2018. However, at the end of 2018, it was announced that the installation will remain on view until the end of 2021.
So, if you’re dying to visit the Seven Magic Mountains, make sure to head there before they are taken down! You don’t want to drive out to the desert to find that this Instagrammable place in Las Vegas has been taken down!
You either need to rent a car or take an Uber to visit the installation.
Photography Tip: Head here early and try to go midweek! We went a little after sunrise and only had to share the site with one other photographer. But as we left, the tour buses started arriving!
4. The LINQ High Roller
The LINQ’s High Roller is currently the world’s tallest ferris wheel! In the interest of full disclose, we were given free passes ride the LINQ’s High Roller, since I was staying in Las Vegas in partnership with the LINQ hotel. That said, we loved every minute of our half an hour ride on the High Roller. Getting a view of the Las Vegas strip from above is unforgettable and such a cool photo op. It’s truly one of the most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas!
Photography Tip: Take a sunset ride so that you can photograph the lights on the strip as the sky darkens.
5. The LINQ Promenade
Since we were visiting Las Vegas in partnership with The LINQ hotel, we spent a lot of time on The LINQ promenade. Not only can you get an awesome photo of the High Roller from the ground, but there’s also a Sprinkles ATM and an In N Out Burger. So, TONS of options to snag that perfect Instagram pic. Plus they have a 24 hour Starbucks which kept us fueled during our long photoshoots!
Photography Tip: The LINQ promenade is in the shade most of the time. This means that you can take photos here in mid-afternoon without the sun being too harsh. You just may have to pose creatively to block the crowd.
6. The Influence Pool at The LINQ
If the Influence Pool at The LINQ isn’t Instagrammable, then I don’t know what is!
Photography Tip: The best view of the pool is facing the hotel with the High Roller in the background. Try to go before their pool parties start to get a photo with no one in it.
7. Eiffel Tower
Oui oui, you can find a little bit of Paris in Las Vegas. The Paris Hotel has an Eiffel Tower replica that makes you feel like you’ve dropped into Paris for an hour or two.
Photography Tip: The best views of the Eiffel Tower are across the street from the Paris Hotel and behind or to the side of the Bellagio Fountains.
8. Venetian Canal
Another fabulous but faux European destination in Vegas is The Venetian. Visiting The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas will almost satisfy your desire to fly away to Italy for a romantic getaway. Almost.
Photography Tip: You can either stand across the grand canal to get the photo I took below. Another option is to pay to take a gondola ride and photograph your cruise down the canal. We didn’t have time for a ride, but I definitely think an old fashioned gondola is one of the most Instagrammble places in Las Vegas!
9. Trevi Fountain at Caesars
Let’s round out our faux trip to Europe with a replica of Rome’s Trevi fountain! This Instagrammable fountain is located just outside of the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace.
Photography Tip: The fountain is usually not very crowded, but since the light can be harsh go early in the morning or closer to the end of the day when it’s in shadow.
10. The High Hat Motel
If you head off the Las Vegas strip, you’ll find a ton of cool motel signs. One of my favorites is the sign for the High Hat Regency Motel (1300 S Las Vegas Blvd).
Photography Tip: Bring a wide angle lens, this sign is tall! Also, although the sign is one of the most Instagramable places in Las Vegas, I’m not sure you actually want to stay at this motel. The reviews are pretty dismal!
11. A Little White Wedding Chapel
Did you know that you can get married in Vegas without even leaving your car? It’s true! Just head to a Little White Wedding Chapel.
You can get married in their drive-thru Tunnel of Love, or head into an indoor chapel and get married by an Elvis impersonator. If it’s good enough for Britney Spears, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and so many other famous couples (and former couples), it’s good enough for me!
OR, if you’re just here for Instagram, take a photo with their pink and white sign. I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be Elvis, but I’m not sure they totally nailed it.
Photography Tip: You’ll also want a wide angle lens for this one.
12. The Empty Club
We stumbled upon The Empty Club, an art Installation in the East Fremont district, totally by accident. I fell in love with its pink exterior, rotating disco ball inside and pink neon lights. This Instagrammable installation in Las Vegas was created by Andre Saraiva.
Photography Tip: Head here at dusk when the neon lights go on. It totally transforms the experience.
13. The El Cortez + Rainbow Crosswalk
A block from Fremont Street, you’ll find the retro exterior of the El Cortez Hotel & Casino and a rainbow crosswalk. The hotel used to be owned by the notorious gangster Bugsy Siegel!
Photography Tip: This part of Vegas is less crowded than the strip, so it’s actually not too hard to get a photo with no one else in it.
If your photographer stands across the street, you can fit in the rainbow crosswalk, hotel and surrounding neon signs that were restored by the Neon Museum. So, this is truly an Instagrammable place in Las Vegas.
14. Retro Vegas
I spent an afternoon exploring the Arts District in Las Vegas. It’s such an underrated part of the city, and worth a trip if you’re interested in seeing where the arts crowed and trendy locals hang out. Retro Vegas is a big vintage and antiques store with a striking pink exterior. It’s just perfect for Instagram!
Photography Tip: This area has even fewer crowds than East Freemont. So snap away without worry about crowds! Plus, there’s a ton of free parking if you have a car. Not only is this one of the most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas, but it’s also a great neighborhood to grab brunch or coffee!
15. East Fremont Street + Arts District Murals
There are so many Instagrammable murals in Vegas! The street art scene is definitely thriving. The East Freemont Street area has a ton of murals, and don’t miss the Arts District if you want to scope out some others. The floral mural below is at Gaia Flowers.
Bonus Day Trip: Valley of Fire State Park
If you have an extra day, rent a car and head out of town. Valley of Fire State Park is about an hour’s drive from Las Vegas but you’ll feel like you’re in a different world. The red rocks against the blue Nevada sky are nothing short of astonishing.
So, even though it’s technically a day trip, I’m including it in my list of the most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas.
Photography Tip: There are no drones allowed, so don’t even think about it! Try to avoid shooting midday in high sun because the rocks will look all bleached out.
That wraps up my list of the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is super Instagrammable, and should be on your list if you’re looking for playful pics to up your IG game.

It’s a total blast, especially if you go off the strip to explore!!
This guide is SO useful! I am from Vegas and I didn’t know half these places existed. Thanks so much for the tips 🙂
Wow! That’s so awesome to hear from a local!! We had such a great time exploring Vegas and the surrounding area. So many hidden gems!!
You should definitely add/check out Terrace Afterhours! They play house music on the roof of Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club every Saturday night/Sunday morning until 8am! It overlooks the strip and the mountains so sunrise photos are unreal 😉
That sounds so fun! I’ll check it out next time I’m in Vegas!
well after looking at your pics, I just need to know where I can buy your presets/ edits🤣
Hey Taylor! I replied on Instagram as well but I’ll be selling my presets in the near future. Stay tuned!
