My Favorite Boots for Walking Around NYC

I’ve lived in NYC since 2008, which according to some people makes me a real New Yorker. A lot of things have changed in my life since I moved to NYC. I moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn, started blogging, got married and bought a home. But the one thing that hasn’t changed is how much I walking I do.

I spend a lot of my days walking around and exploring the city from morning to night. If you’re coming to NYC for a vacation, you can also expect to spend a lot of time on your feet. That means comfy boots are an essential in the fall and winter months.

But, your boots can’t just be comfy. It *is* New York after all. They also have to be stylish. That’s why my favorite boots for walking around NYC are my Ugg boots.

I’ve been wearing Ugg boots for years and years. They’re adorable, pretty much go with everything, and you just can’t find boots that feel as cozy and soft.

If you’re planning a fall or winter trip to NYC, I highly recommend bringing a pair of Ugg boots. You’ll see a ton of locals wearing them and your feet will thank you!

Yesterday, I wore my Ugg booties from morning to night. I started off my day meeting a friend in NYC’s East Village to grab brunch and work on some upcoming travel plans.

We did some vintage shopping in the area, then walked to Union Square to check out a holiday market. I then hopped the subway to spend a couple of hours exploring DUMBO, Brooklyn. I closed out the day by watching the sunset over the Manhattan skyline.

Since I had my Ugg boots on, my feet felt warm, cozy and comfy all day into the night. I’ll definitely be wearing these from fall into winter!
